Yoga is a philosophy originating from the Indian sub-continent. It seeks the union of mind, body and spirit. Its tools are a list of personal and social ethics.There is a believe in the presence of life-force in all living things combining to form a universal life-force. A series of physical exercises (postures or asanas), and other practices, have been designed which allows us to study how our bodies work. Balance is an important idea.
All sports carry a certain amount of risk and yogi must expect to experience hard physical effort but must use judgement in practice. Students must exercise sufficient knowledge, awareness and skills to avoid injury and should be gentle with themselves in all exercise. Any pre-existing medical or physical condition must be reported to the teacher.
Yoga is suitable for all abilities and ages from the wonky-bear to the grizzly bear personalities.

- Niyama (personal ethics)
- Asana (posture)
- Pranayama (breath control)
- Pratyahara (sense control)
- Dhyarana (concentration)
- Dhyana (meditation)
- Samadhi (complete absorption)
